Bullet Trajectory App for FARO Scene Now Available

Post by 3DForensics »

Hello Everyone,

We've been busy at work wrapping up the Bullet Trajectory App for FARO Scene and it is now available directly through my website at:

http://www.ai2-3d.com/bullet-trajectory-plugin/

This plugin has already been used at a real crime scene (twice in the past 3 weeks). We have also run some tests to show that we are getting correct results. Any questions or comments, do not hesitate to drop me a note.

By far the best feature is the automatic reporting in MS Word!

Eugene,
Don't know much about what your doing technically, but really great idea and execution to deliver it this way.

I'm sure the market for stuff like this is large and growing. Best of luck with it.

I think the goal of any app or piece of software is to provide a simple way to do something that would otherwise be very difficult. I think we have achieved this and I am very pleased with the feedback we have received so far from our beta testers.

Thanks!

UPDATE TO BULLET APP 1.6.2

Hello Everyone,

There has been an update to the Bullet App for FARO Scene where we have fixed some bugs and also added a new multi-trajectory too. Basically, it allows you to keep connecting trajectories together in the case where you have ricochet or a change in bullet path.

I've created a very short video demonstrating this here:
