Hey everybody,
I remember watching a webinar from edgewise that explained some methods for scanning in containment above ceiling, but I can't find that webinar now that I am needing to do it!
And if anyone has any good advice on how to scan/register that data in containment, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Above Ceiling Scanning in Containment

Re: Above Ceiling Scanning in Containment
Containment being protective plastic or canvas sheeting arranged around the ceiling access area (removed ceiling tile etc...) effectively preventing the scanner from capturing ground/wall data as well as ground/wall targets?
One of the primary issues we faced on our largest above ceiling scanning project was the gigantic sheets of noise that would be created whenever the FARO X330 scanner was near the aluminized foam insulated HVAC ducts or other reflective surfaces. It would make most of the data collected unusable unless processed by a few software packages with exceptional noise reduction and correction features like InfiPoints for example.

Re: Above Ceiling Scanning in Containment
c2c above the ceiling? We did a large project by using a pump up scanner lift to get the scanner above the ceiling, basically entirely c2c above the ceiling and worked like a charm.
The zeb revo looks very promising for above the ceiling, but never tried it.

@TommyMadox Yes, exactly that. I know there was a webinar, but I cannot locate it.
